Install Namada Keychain
Namada Keychain allows you to create an account, manage your keys, and sign transactions. It can also be used with a Ledger hardware wallet.

Create a Namada account
Create your Namada account with Keychain (and optionally, a Ledger), consisting of a shielded and transparent address. Safely store your backup phrase.

Get NAM
You’ll need NAM, Namada’s native token, to interact with Namada and get the lowest transaction fees. Fees can also be paid in other supported assets.

Interact
with Namada
Connect your wallet to a user interface like Namadillo to start shielding your assets, stake NAM, and participate in governance.

Connect to an interface
Namada interfaces are community hosted. Choose which one to use Namada with.

Shield your assets and earn rewards. Click 'Shield Assets', connect your wallet, choose an origin chain and asset, and submit.

NAM rewards are automatically added to your shielded account. The more assets you shield, the stronger Namada's privacy guarantees are for everyone.
