Anyone can join the Namada validator community. Create your validator now and be ready for Namada mainnet launch. Check out the resources below and help secure the shielded multichain future.
They vote on state transitions, propose blocks, and vote on future protocol upgrades via on-chain governance. The amount of NAM they have at stake determines their voting power, including their own self stake and the amount delegated to them. Validators share staking rewards with delegators and can charge a commission rate.
Delegators research and select validators to stake tokens to, collecting rewards proportional to their stake. Selected validators participate in consensus and governance on the delegator’s behalf. Staked tokens are bonded and thus not liquid, but can be withdrawn following the unbonding period.
