On March 16th, to celebrate the big milestones achieved in the last few months – launching our public testnets and growing our Retroactive Public Goods Funding (RPGF) program – we chose to launch our first-ever Namada Meme Contest.
Today, we’re proud to share that we have:
Received 180+ individual contest registrations
Seen 290+ Namada memes created and shared on Twitter
As a result, we wanted to give a shoutout to each and every one of you who participated in the contest. We're grateful for your support in helping us grow and raise awareness about Privacy as a Public Good and Namada. We truly have an awesome community - so thank you!
The Winners Are…
We are now thrilled to announce that the votes are in, and our Meme Contest winners have been chosen!
Note: After observing the unusually high levels of likes and retweets on the community voting Twitter thread, the top 10 winners were selected based on a 50/50 vote between the team of Namada Discord moderators and Heliax’s team (find the full calculation towards the end of this article).
If you’re one of the winners, please contact Philippe on Discord (philippe.namada#2547) to claim your prize!
If you didn't win this time, don't worry. There will be more exciting opportunities in future, so keep an eye out on Namada’s socials.
Lastly, we would love to hear your feedback on the contest. Did you enjoy participating? Would you like us to organize similar contests in the future? What other community activities would you like to propose? Please let us know by filling out this form.
Thank you again for your participation. Now onto the testnet!
